Your Questions Answered

We know you’ve probably got lots of questions which we will do our best to answer as we go along, but in the meantime here's some of the more frequently asked ones with our response: The simple answer is no. The raw food principles we advocate are best implemented as a lifestyle with great health being the end result. For most people this is a transitional process which can take months or even years to fully implement, but one which holds a lifetime benefit. Weight loss is one definite advantage of increasing your raw food intake but it is not a motivation that we encourage, simply because you can lose weight on any of the hundreds of diets out there. The overall HEALTH BENEFITS of eating raw are incomparable: as your body receives food that contains life force (enzymes, vitamins, nutrients etc), it begins to regenerate itself, resulting in clearer skin, energy increase and indeed NATURAL weight loss. Too many people talk about eating healthy as a punishment or a sacrifice and only think in terms of what they have to give up. We focus on what you need to ADD to your diet as we strongly believe that as you start to understand and experience the health benefits of eating raw, you will naturally begin to drop certain foods from your diet. Unfortunately meat has very little nutritional value to the body so it’s not something we would recommend as part of your regular diet. No! The correct term for the sliced raw fish Japanese dish often mistakenly referred to as sushi is ‘sashimi’ and as the health benefits are questionable, it’s not something we would or do recommend.

Do I have to give up meat?
