What I love most about raw food is that THERE ARE NO RULES - everything is an adventure and your taste bud is king! I enjoy preparing exciting dishes in my kitchen and when I'm on the road; dishes like 'raw-ghetti', almond tart, and my all-time favourite, raw ice cream! I also love experimenting with fresh vegetables and fruits to create amazing juices and smoothies that are ultra healthy and ultra delicious! My love affair with raw food began around four years ago in 2005. I was in a position at the time where despite playing football at a semi-professional level, I was still struggling with my weight, had poor post-match recovery, and I was irritable and prone to spontaneous bouts of unexplained fatigue. Then one day after another training session at the back of the pack, something amazing happened to me (more in the book to come) and my life took a dramatic turn for the better. After this event, I was blessed with amazing life-changing secrets about health and the human body and so began my journey into the world of raw food (or divine health as I like to call it). I have since TRANSITIONED (this is key) to a 90% raw food lifestyle and obtained so much wisdom in the process about nutrition, fitness, weight-loss, energy and raw food preparation that I can’t help but share it. What has amazed me the most is the impact that raw food has had on ME: I have lost and kept off over two stones in weight; my skin has brightened dramatically; I am fully charged for a 24-hour day after only FIVE HOURS sleep; my fitness, endurance and post-match recovery has greatly improved; I jog an average of 15 miles a week, and I have NOT had a cold in years! Some past friends do not even recognise me - I HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED!!!! I love health and I love life which is why I eat raw - I want to help you do the same.
